The non-profit Dandenong Junior Chess Training Centre recently established in as part of the Dandenong Chess Club.

In the spirit of “Kids shine, community thrives”, our founding team has been working hard to create a common playground for children from 5 to 16 years old who love a fun yet challenging game. We believe playing chess can help children to build strategic thinking, courage, patience and resilience – all important traits for their future success.

With support from Council of City of Greater Dandenong and special support from the Killester College, we have been able to secure a venue for our weekly activities, which are currently facilitated by our volunteers.

The founding team and members of Dandenong Chess Club would really appreciate your generosity and support. It will be a fun place for not only kids but also a friendly chatting for parents and families in our community. With this result, the Dandenong Junior Chess Training Centre will be expanded, getting bigger and popular in area to create a useful playground for The community of City of Greater Dandenong.
